Electrolux Combination Oven Cooking Demonstration
Catering Partnership arranges cooking demonstration after installing combination ovens in Cumbria schools.
Following the installation of 3 Electrolux combination ovens, Catering Partnership organised a demonstration event at Valley Primary school in Whitehaven. The event showed staff from Be Smart Cumbria and catering service company Dolce Ltd how to use the new equipment to its full capability.
The aim of the event was to help the contractors operate more efficiently and for the schools to save costs and energy. Attendees were also educated on the correct operation to avoid causing potential faults and reducing the service life of the equipment.
During the demonstration, Head Development Chef for Electrolux Professional Foodservice Equipment Bradley Creese cooked a chicken roast dinner for over 180 pupils together with vegetables and roast potatoes.
In between cooking cycles, Bradley also demonstrated how to use of the latest food processing equipment for cutting, chopping, dicing and slicing. These new machines save time by being adaptable to all applications and are easy to dismantle for cleaning in the dishwasher.
On display during the event was the latest range of 5 litre and 8 litre mixers, which are more durable and easier to clean than previous models.
All attendees agreed this was a beneficial day and that they will be able to take away ideas to make their own catering operations more efficient.
If your organisation has an existing Electrolux Combination Oven, Catering Partnership can organise on site demonstrations or arrange a visit to Electrolux’s Centre of Excellence in Luton, where all aspects of their foodservice products are on display including ware washing and laundry products.
