Award-Winning Brewery Thanks Catering Partnership for It’s ‘Continued High Level of Service in Such Uncertain Times’
Timothy Taylor’s is an independent, family-owned brewery founded in Keighley in 1858. In addition to brewing a range of ales the company also operates a modest pub estate of 19 outlets.
It is one of the UK’s oldest family-owned breweries with over 160 years’ heritage of brewing award-winning cask ales, with their Landlord winning more awards than any other beer, winning both CAMRA Champion Beer of Britain and the Brewing Industry Awards Gold Medal four times.
Timothy Taylor’s started working with Catering Partnership over seven years ago and asked them to look after the service and maintenance of all kitchen equipment within the managed house division of the business.
But why is it that a brewery giant such as Timothy Taylor’s chose Catering Partnership to work with? Well, Area Manager John Wilman explains more.
He said: “The level and speed of service, especially from Tim Forster, the engineer at Catering Partnership, is second to none. They regularly go above and beyond to ensure our managed house, The Woolly Sheep Inn in Skipton, and our tenanted houses are well looked after and able to trade.”
He continued: “Two recent issues, which highlight exactly the level of service provided, both occurred on a Friday afternoon. Tim went out of his way to ensure a faulty gas isolator was replaced within a few hours, so that Friday evening trade could continue as normal. He also fitted a new extractor fan at very short notice on a Saturday morning to ensure the site did not potentially lose a whole weekend’s trade. Both during the uncertainty of the COVID-19 situation.”
When asked if John had any feedback for the team at Catering Partnership, he said: “Simply thank you for the continued high level of service, particularly in such uncertain times.”
Graham Heath, Managing Director of Catering Partnership, said: “We really value each and every one of our customers and I am so happy to hear that we were able to assist John and continue our working relationship with such a fantastic business like Timothy Taylor’s. Tim, along with our other engineers, epitomises the ethos of our company, and it is great to hear such positive feedback. We understand times are difficult at the moment, but throughout the uncertainty, we aim to still be reliable and ensure businesses can remain fully functional.”
