 Owner of Porto Restaurant and The Estuary Bistro recommends working with local service provider

Following the acquisition of their existing service provider in 2014 by a national company, award-winning restaurant Porto in Bowness-on-Windermere took the decision to work with Catering Partnership.

Owner Faye Ramsey explains:

“I was aware of Catering Partnership and their reputation, and I was keen to work with a local provider.  The acquisition of our previous provider was a perfect opportunity to connect with Catering Partnership.”

Over the last 5 years, Catering Partnership have provided ongoing service and maintenance of the kitchen equipment at the restaurant.  In 2017, they were also involved in the extension and re-design of the kitchen facilities.

In 2018, Faye and husband Harry bought the old chemist in Grange-over-Sands to build on the success of Porto, renovating and transforming the property into The Estuary – a friendly, family-run bistro.

“For the design and installation of the new kitchen at The Estuary, Catering Partnership were the obvious choice for us,”

added Faye.

Working closely with Catering Partnership’s Project Sales Manager Anna Connolly, the designs for the new kitchen were then progressed to sourcing and installation of equipment tailored to the requirements of the property renovation and the business.  All the work was completed on budget and on time for the grand opening in February 2019.

Faye summarised:

“The main benefit of working with Catering Partnership is the level of service we receive.  Both the maintenance engineers that visit us and the office support staff are courteous, knowledgeable, polite and diligent.  They genuinely care about their work and always get the job done properly.  We always look to engage where possible with local businesses, and being local also ensures Catering Partnership are very quick to respond to any issues that we encounter.  We are extremely satisfied with the quality of service provided and look forward to continuing our working relationship with Catering Partnership well into the future.”
